I was late to join the GTA craze and started on GTA 5 which im enjoying very much, picked up GTA 4 for £3:50 in Animals in Need charity shop and was glad i didnt buy it new! played it for 2-3 hours, bored, the city is dark the cars move like barges and the missions are crap!

GTA III was groundbreaking at the time as it was the first 3rd person based GTA game, only bettered on the PS2 by San Andreas when you think about how huge the world was, i'd agree with Clitterbug about GTA IV having recently revisited it for old times sake, the movement just isn't smooth, GTA V tho what can I say, one of, if not the best game of 2013 & with the addition of GTA Online & the new DLC, it just keeps getting better

I can't look past GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas. These games had everything that made the franchise what it is. The style, the music, the characters, the dialogue, the settings, the customisation, the missions, everything. With those games I actually wanted to complete the missions to know what happens in the end. With the last two, especially 4, I couldn't really give a fuck. They are too involved, too 'artistic'. Maybe it is an age thing, but I just couldn't get excited with what I was playing. It is sad to say, but I don't think I will ever bother with it again...

Gonna have to say 4.
I think 3 was the biggest leap and without that 4 and 5 wouldn't be what they are.
I kinda burned out after 3 and then left the series and came back with 4. And then coming back to 4 it just felt like the most realised world. And 5 I don't feel has improved on the world. -

Grand theft auto san andreas is the greatest game of all time. That game is the best game ever made EVER!!! So ye thats my opinion haha. :) I wish they would bring out San Andreas on PS3 -

i used to love the old grand theft autos, back in the day gta london was good but u play it now and its super shit,for me its got to be san andreas,gta 5 is good but its just not as good as san andreas,gta 4 was ok to -

One thing is for use that the franchise has gotten better as the years have gone on. But the same can be said for a lot of things like cars and women. But I don't play games like I did when I was a teenager maybe that's because as I got older I found it more fun to watch people play games than to play them myself"
