  Episode four
  
  Uncle Phil's political aspirations are further explored and put under the microscope. The need to connect to with his working class constituents is put to the forefront. Ashley is given the start of her character arc as a teenager finding her place in the world. Geoffrey's role as the "House Manager" takes an intriguing twist, and it might be my favourite subplot so far. Will's budding relationship with Lisa hits a slight bump in the road. Carlton's relationship with Will seems to be getting better. Hilary helps Jazz with his entrepreneurial aspirations. Aunt Viv and Hilary's relationship continues to fragment. Trey has good news for Will, but the repercussions might be disastrous.

  Will has big decisions to make in regards to his future. Uncle Phil's campaign takes a slight hit. Aunt Viv has aspirations to change career. Carlton finds out a secret. Hilary continues to progress in her career. Ashley expresses she has a crush. Trey goes to LA.
  
  The additions of Micheal Ealy and Duane Martin add a new perspective to the plot. Their interactions with Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv have opened up some different possibilities for their character arcs this season.

  Will and Lisa's friendship changes direction. Uncle Phil faces a new opponent in his quest to become District Attorney. Carlton continues to spiral downward. Ashley suffers an emotional setback. Aunt Viv continues to follow her passion. Geoffrey shows that he is capable of more than just managing the Banks' house. Hilary turns up the heat on her career aspirations.

  Hilary needs to work out how to solve a problem. Carlton re-evaluates his future. Will and Lisa's relationship progresses. Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv's relationship regresses. Jazz makes a welcome re-appearance. Geoffrey makes a brief but always episode stealing cameo.

  Vy comes to LA for Will's birthday. Aunt Viv and Vy have some issues to deal with. Hilary suffers from the repercussions of her actions. Carlton matures and becomes more responsible. Uncle Phil faces a speed bump in is pursuit to become DA. Will asks Geoffrey for a favour.

  Uncle Phil's campaign continues to come under threat. Aunt Viv is given an opportunity to follow her passion. Hilary tries to fix her career. Carlton suffers a set back. Geoffrey provides Will with some information. Lisa finds out something from her dad.

  Episode ten - season one finale
  
  Wowwwww! this show had no right to be as good as it was. Thank you Morgan Cooper for creating such a fresh spin on an iconic sitcom. Jabari Banks is star with such a bright future. Actually the entire cast and crew deserve so much credit for knocking this out the park. The way they ended season one with the most dramatic storyline from the sitcom was perfect.

  The season two trailer just dropped and here it is. After the conclusion of season one it looks like Will is even more confident in what direction he wants to take in life. Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv's political and artistic careers look like they'll continue to rise. And the same with Hilary's social media influencing career too. Ashely looks like she's going to have a larger storyline as well, that my be centred around her intelligence and socio-political point of view.  We may see more of Jeffrey's dark past, present and future. Carlton's storyline might parallel the episode from the sit-com when he moved to Compton. It'll be interesting to see what happens to the other supporting characters like Lisa and Jazz.

  Season two's trailer reveals more about the character trajectories since the end of season one and where they're heading in season two. Will appears to be stepping out on his own two feet and determining his future in basketball. This void inevitably has an effect on the Banks household. Hilary seems to be struggling with conflicting peers in her career as an influencer. Carlton has issues with his position at Bel Air Academy. Ashley has a familiar face as one of her mentors at school. Phil and Viv not only have issues in their relationship but also issues in their careers too. Geoffrey is always going to be their for the entire family as a voice of reason.

  Ashley's teacher inspires her to gain more knowledge. Aunt Viv tries to progress in her art career.
  
  Episode three
  Hilary struggles to deal with being a friend and a business partner. Uncle Phil returns to his legal practice.
