  DAY 15 of the BBC Sport advent calendar shows Britain's Lizzy Yarnold sliding to Olympic gold in the skeleton at the 2014 Sochi Games.
  
  Yarnold, then 25, completed her four runs in three minutes 52.89 seconds to finish 0.97 seconds ahead of Noelle Pikus-Pace of United States.

  DAY 17 of the BBC Sport advent calendar looks back to when Mercedes' team-mates Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton clashed early on in Belgium, puncturing Hamilton's rear tyre as the German tried to reclaim the lead.
  
  Rosberg's front wing had to be changed before he fought back to second but the incident effectively put Hamilton out of the race.

  DAY 19 of the BBC Sport Calendar looks back at Odell Beckham Jr's stunning one-handed catch for a touchdown for the New York Giants in the NFL.
  
  "That's the best catch I've ever seen," tweeted Giants team-mate Victor Cruz, while Super Bowl-winning cornerback Richard Sherman wrote: "My Goodness.... That young man is bad!!!!"
  
  NBA star LeBron James added: "Man I just witnessed the greatest catch ever possibly by Odell Beckham Jr! WOW!!!!" As for the NFL's official Twitter feed, that asked the question: "Greatest catch of all-time?"
  
  Beckham Jr, 22, who is in his first season in the NFL, practises one-handed catches before every game.
  
  "I guess I have to thank my mom for the long fingers. Hers are maybe a half-an-inch shorter than mine," the wide receiver said.

  DAY 20 of BBC Sport's advent calendar reveals Britain's Jo Pavey winning the 10,000m title at the European Championships in Zurich.
  
  The 40-year-old becomes the oldest ever female athlete to win a European title after seeing off Calvin and her compatriot Laila Traby.
  
  Mum-of-two Pavey led at the bell of the 25-lap race and kicked away on the last bend to win in a time of 32 minutes 22.39 seconds.

  A stunning approach shot to the green on the 15th hole leads United States opponent Keegan Bradley to concede defeat, with Donaldson registering a 4&3 win.
  
  Europe have now won eight of the last 10 Ryder Cups.

  The Briton, who was wearing a helmet and full racing gear, was only held up for a split second after telling the guard: "I'm a driver."

  DAY 23 of the BBC Sport advent calendar reveals Jamaican sprint star Usain Bolt delivering a message to BBC Sport presenter Gabby Logan shortly after steering his country to victory in their 4x100m heat.
  
  Bolt claims he heard the presenter say "they are enjoying the Games without [Yohan] Blake and me", before insisting he is "a fun person" and giving a jig to the camera.
  
  Logan replied that she actually said the Games were "OK without him and now he's here it's better, obviously it's better".
