  I've seen the good one of the two and thoroughly recommed it. I was a bit sceptical about it at first, kept thinking another "America saves the world" movie before I saw.
  
  It is still a bit like that, but no where near as blatant as Independance Day was.
  
  Don't watch Battle of Los Angeles, I saw about 2 minutes of the action when I was channel hoping the other day and it was bloody awful.

  i've seen them both, and to be honest i didn't think either was great. battle of los angeles was by far the worst film.
  
  but i felt that compared to what the trailers promised battle : los angeles was a massive let down as well

  Not seen it, was slightly interested in watching it,
  seen the cheaper version on tv the battle of los angeles one, or part of it at least, it was terrible, couldn't bear watching it all.

  I can't say i watched it but from what my mates said after they went to see it (Battle: Los Angeles) there were a few enormous plot holes. And they had issues with the fact that killing one of the invaders at the start was almost impossible but at the end it was piss easy to kill them. I may buy it when it's in the bargain bin at my local super market.

  i saw this about a couple of months ago and i can honestly say it was very good buut how a humanarmy group can take out hightech aliens that have all these spaceships and super hightech weapons i dont know looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  do not mistake it for "Battle of Los Angeles" like dVIOUS did i did!
  
  man, you gotta watch some of them low budget ripoff movies, they are fucking hilarious! The treminator remake made me laugh so much 'Terminators'! see what they did there! lol
  
  and on Syfy at 2.30 in the morning 'The Day the Earth Stopped'! now if you want to make a mistake and watch the wrong The Day the Earth Stood Still, watch that one!
  
  dont know how they get away with it!
  
  
  now back to the real, battle:los angeles. its looks good and wasnt it out the same time as 'Skyline'?, which i thought was pretty decent

  Yeah it was. It is actually a decent film too, If you liked Skyline I'd recommend it.
  Storyline is fairly similar to that of the shit copy, but yeah, if you have watched the shit version, it certainly doesn't spoil the real version

  the shit versions of these films are made by the same people i think and they basic take the script from the originals, strip to the bare bones, get a spotty kid on a ZX spectrum to do the 'CGI' and get his brother to put it together! lol
  
  I only watch them when there really is nothing else worth watching and i'm getting stoned! when your smoking a doobie, they are hilarious! couldnt watch them over than that!
  
  i'll check out battle: los angeles as a like a good shoot em up. dont care much if america saves the world in a movie, just wish they'd stop trying to do it in real life!
  
  cant wait for the AVENGERS movie next year!

  battle OF los angeleas, i mean jesus christ if you dpn't have the money to make a movie like that then just dont make it lol, simples. i have not seen the 'good' one of the two but maybe will check it out
