Well, I have just watched Batman Ninja, and...............I LOVED IT!! The entire movie was brilliant from the animation style's to the music. It was typical Japanese craziness, and I LOVED IT!!

batman ninja , has been reviewed on this forum on a different thread. i cannot remember the name of the thread ( and i do not know how to navigate these things ) or i would direct you there. it was gymaddict and he gave it a pretty bad review. ( pretty bad is being kind ) so i gave it a miss as previously he had reviewed batman by gaslight and i entirely agreed with his 'GOOD' review. so based on that i missed it. it is still about £8 i bougth 'by gaslit' for £9 and it immediatley went down to £5 so i may wait awhile. or . maybe you and i are in synce. what was your opinion of 'batman by gaslight' of the killing joke. arkham asylum etc

Firstly, this is my opinion, as I have my own mind and do not follow other's.
Secondly, as I mentioned, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
And thirdly, I have enjoyed many of the DC animated offering's especially the three mentioned.

no sorry. thumbs down on batman ninja for me. it started well. but then got tiresome. with all sorts of different japanese genres getting mixed in. some power rangers . some transformers. and at one point the artwork changed to a washed out water colour. i thought it was a dream sequence ( you know the couple in the garden bit ) it was like it was made by several different studios.
but as you say each to his own, there are some good dc movies out there but for me they are not enough. i like the red hood but it needed a prequel , i think 'death in the family' should have been doen first.
but all subsequent reviews are welcome.

And you are more than enttled to your opinion, Madpolac683. Just because stjohn66 and i didn't enjoy the film..would be a boriing old world if we all liked the same stuff/ had identical opinions of it. For me, the dc animated universe does need to pull it's finger out and start knocking out more classics as opposed to seemingly just churning stuff out for the sake of it. For me, whilst theres been some middle of the road stuff, theres been nothing finer in semi recent memory than the likes of 'Assault on Arkham' and the almighty 'Dark Knight' 2 parter. Am kinda looking forward to 'Death of Superman'. Early reports have suggested that it's meant to be rather good + think it's out very soon.
