the world cup is played by teams who are nowhere near as used to playing together as they are for their club at the end of a long and gruelling season - so of course the world cup is a lower standard than champions league
and yes europe is bigger than the rest of the world in football terms - that's why everyone strives to play here even the best south american players... who are the truly top south american players who didn't come and play in europe in the last 20 years?

so according to you, mesut oezil played better than messi, did he, and so did every other german?
messi had 4 goals, an assist and did plenty to create chances for an argentina team who did want to play. he and macherano practically carried that team and if even one more world class argentine would have showed up and put effort in like messi did, (like aguero in the final), argentina could have beaten germany.
let me ask you this just to see if it's even worth debating this with you anymore lol,
do you think fabio cannavaro deserved the award in 2006? and do you think zidane would have deserved it in 2006 if he hadn't done the headbutt? -

Dont under estimate yourself,look at the post mmmm,i said ozil was as good as messi,when did they play each other before,they didnt,so it was obviously in that match i meant,which he was,not the whole tournament -

It was always going to be between messi and ronaldo. Neuer has played fantastic and has been the best keeper in the world for a couple of years.
I think it would be so difficult for a keeper to win it as there is no way you can compare to an outfield player, let alone a couple that score almost every week and have broken so many records between them. -
