During Wednesday's practice session for this weekend's 24-Hour, Loic Duval lost control of his R18, went airborne and smashed in to a wall backwards.

He walked away from the incident, but the car... Battered.

Though somehow Audi managed to have a new one built by yesterday morning, which isn't bad going.

Despite being mostly unharmed, Duval will be replaced by Marc Gene as a precaution.

So altogether, not ideal preparation for Audi. And with Porsche back on the scene this year after a long hiatus, they struggle to add to their twelve victories at the event, all of which have come in the last 14 years.
