  I think they have yet to take full advantage of the future setting, had glimpses in the 3rd, but it would he nice if they gave that a decent focus and showed the future Asssassin and Templar war in the one of the games (running alongside the memories obviously). Because they have hinted there is more to it but it's never shown really.

  You guys needs to check this out it's awesome some of the stuff that these guys do, jumping over buildings and stuff, how do you learn something like this i wonder??

  Tbh mate i hope they keep it the way it is a little bit of the future here and there would be fine but basing it totally in the future would just ruin it. It would end up like splinter cell. but the co-op does look effin sweet cant wait to play it.

  I'd love to see a japense themed assassin and I think its crucial they keep the future/current story line to keep it interesting I think i was in the minority of people that genuinely liked the desomond story lines and the modern day setting it was amazing climbing the crane in the third installment and making your way through the construction site. Sadly I think theyre more about making money that high quality games these days.

  I agree the future Assassin/Templar storyline is crucial, and allows them to jump to different time periods while keeping a constant point to keep them tied together. I liked the Desmond storyline too, i was a little disappointed though that you never really got to play as Desmond properly (just a select few missions in 3).
  Hopefully they put a bit more thought into the future storyline in Unity than they did in Black Flag, which wasn't as interesting as the Desmond story (random faceless person who just hacks a few computers).

  I'm not overly blown away by any of the new assassins or the way the series is going tbf, I really like assassins creed 3 but not many othe rpeople seem to enjoy it I thought Connor was class, French Assassin seems a bit meh.

  Just to update on that second title previously known as Comet for PS3 and 360, it has now been fully announced. In Assassin's Creed: Rogue you play as former Assassin turned Templar Shay Cormac. The game is set as a sequel to Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.
  
  
  
  
  
  Rogue is out November 11th and Unity October 28th.

  The more I see of Rogue the less interested in it I am.
  I forced myself to complete 3 and didn't enjoy it. I've only just got round to buying 4 so we shall see how that goes.
  
  To be honest a piece of wood would make a more interesting hero than Connor and I was disappointed with what 3 did with Desmond.

  I think this one might tempt me back to the series, it's been a while since I played assassins creed because they release them too damn fast!! But it looks like a lot of fun so I look forward to giving it a go. Luckily I got a P4 recently, so I'm not too concerned about the next gen exclusivity.

  Ahh damnit. So playing through Assassins Creed 4 is kinda wanting to make play this.
  Black Flag still has some problems (hey at the least story isn't as bad as 3) but I start running about air assassinating people and all feels good again.
  
  I'm curious about a location though. Didn't particularly like the US (for 3) and I didn't enjoy Constantinople as much as the parts of Italy.
