The full length trailer for Assassins Creed is here and even though I've never played the game in my life, I'm still pretty excited about this movie.
Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch, played by Michael Fassbender experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

Maybe it's just me being picky, or the fact that i'm a big fan of the games and it's making me extra critical. But don't like the look of this at all.
I am opposed to the idea of them completely ignoring the storylines and main characters of the game and just picking some random character out of nowhere. The music seems way out of place for the film and that weird animus claw thing looks ridiculous and just a change from the game for the sake of it.
I find the lack of blood for a film about assassins to be a bit ridiculous as well, don't think the concept of assassins works with a PG13 rating. -

Agree fully with this, they should have at least done one of the storylines from the film, I would have to say Altair as the one to focus on was a big fan of this game back when in crusades not been as impressed with the most recent ones, did enjoy the one set in Caribbean though, not seen it yet but may wait till I can get a decent copy and give it a go, just not expecting big things from it -

i really liked the first assassins creed game that came out, i hope this movie is as good as that, trailer looked very good and i see alot of free running and crazy stunts so it should be good -

Got around to checking this out the other day..even put off doing some scheduled housework to watch this..well, suppose karma can be a bitch sometimes, i should have just done the housework. What an underwhelming film this was. Oh how we love the trailers and their ability to show you all thhe best bits in a film. This sadly falls into that catagory. How can a film with so much stunt work and killing be so damned boring. Sadly a few jumps, flips, deaths and the such like cant overshadow this films complete lack of plot, direction, 3 dimensional and likeable characters..its just a boring mess. So much so i had to watch this in 2 sittings as 90 minutes in i fell asleep through boredom. Buckets of potential sadly wasted in my opinion.
