  And Stuart Broad makes it a five-wicket haul with his dismissal of Harris, lbw on 28.
  
  270 was where it stayed. All out.

  and that turns to 270 all out as Stuart Broad gets his 5 for gets Ryan Harris lbw. Another DRS review this time as the umpire initially says no, but again proved to be out...
  A good morning indeed for England and they will super happy to only have to chase down 32 to take the lead again... BUT... How will our Batsmen go about this innings. Nicely in the balance again, a nasty 30 minutes before lunch for Cook and Root to fend off the Aussie bowlers.

  DAY 3 LUNCH; ENG 24-1 and trail by 8. Cook 17 & Trott 5
  
  Joe Root becomes the early wicket for the Aussies, making 2 before being clean bowled by Harris.
  An important session this after lunch, if it goes badly for England, it's game to the Aussies.
  A lead of 250 or so will make it interesting for a last innings chase.

  Well another 2 quick wickets have gone, first that of Cook who gets caught by the keeper off Harris for 22, then less than 10 minutes later Trott manages to glove a bouncer to the keeper and Harris takes his third wicket.. that made it 49-3 and it wasn't looking too good...
  
  Now it's up to Pietersen (11) and Bell (7) to steady the ship, currently at 67-3, they need a lot more to give themselves a chance...
  
  Back to batting practice for the rest of them...

  DAY 3 TEA: ENG 123-3 lead by 91 Pietersen 37 & Bell 37
  
  Pietersen and Bell manage to survive till Tea and playing fairly well and they're almost 100 in the lead, again it seems pretty well balanced, now if only the England boys can keep their heads (and their wickets) it will see us forge ahead in the evening session and demoralise the Aussies who must have been hoping for a lot more during the afternoon.
  
  Still up in the air at the moment, but I think my bet against the draw is safe, someone has to win this match with so much time left...

  Drinks taken at 5.15 and England are 170-4 a lead now of 138.
  
  The wicket to fall was that of KP, out for 44, trying to work Lyon on the leg side but getting a leading edge to Rogers at cover.
  Bell is still there on 67 and Bairstow on 10, with Bairstow hitting a couple of shots back over Lyons head for boundaries.
  Still the honours are even stevens in my book, both sides will want to end the day on top.

  CLOSE OF PLAY: ENG 234-5 leading by 202 Bell 104 & Bresnan 4
  
  Just the 1 wicket to fall after drinks, that of Bairstow, out for 28 as he becomes Lyon's second wicket as Haddin takes an edge safely in the gloves.
  Another brilliant century by Bell, he really is the pick of the crop for England and saving their asses.. as well as becoming by quite a margin the highest runscorer of the series so far.
  England will want to bat well past Lunch tomorrow so they can set Australia a target, and hopefully then bowl them out.
  A day you would have to say that has gone Englands way...

  I guess the big question this morning is how big a lead does England need? Depending on the pundits / papers, some say it is already enough?? I doubt that very much... Another 50 minimum for me will be a target they can bowl at, closer to 300 the better... Remember this is still only day 4, so the pitch may not be all helpful yet, but I guess we'll see about that in 15 minutes or so as the Aussie bowlers try to skittle England out before Lunch.
  
  What about the weather, well according to the beeb...
  "There is a wind that is just north of westerly and that will mean, I suspect, if not this morning then certainly this afternoon, a 60% chance of heavy showers and a rumble of thunder. This will be a different beast and will be different to anything we have seen over the last few days."
  
  So a chance of less play today, that means both sides will want to get a hurry on, hopefully that won't mean hurry up and get yourselves out for our batters...

  A lead of 300 or lunch, whichever comes first, and England will look to have a bowl (in my opinion).
  
  As much as the weather gods were with us at Old Trafford, I've got a feeling they'll be against us this time out.
  
  We're looking well on top though, and it's nice to be able to say that. It seems like it's been a while.

  The new ball's been taken and Bresnan has just survived a review due to the 'Umpires Call'... Most dangerous time now as both sides have had success with the new ball, as usual a cliché, but this next hour will be very important !!!
  
  Spoke too soon as Harris just bowls Bell, off an inside edge... unlucky but a good innings of 113.
  
  Just get bat on ball, sounds easy, doesn't it...
  
  What can Matty Prior do now?
  Ha, the answer is nothing as Harris takes his off stump clean out and it's a first ball duck....
  What was I saying about the new ball lol...
  
  Harris is on a het-trick as Broad comes out and he now has his 5 for as well, as he shows the crowd the ball... Broad survives the first ball, how many more though...
