  Having been a Arsenal fan most of my life I would have never believed that in 2014 both the Men's and Women's FA Cups would be sitting in the trophy cabinet at the same time its been so long, Having after so many years of mocking at work like "Has the trophy brasso dried up" I can finally hold my head high... Good on ya Gunners..! :D new tin of brasso on the way!!!

  Arsenal sent out a statement of intent for the season as they impressively dismissed Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley.
  The FA Cup winners took the lead through Santi Cazorla's angled shot and added to that when Aaron Ramsey drove in a strike to finish a counter-attack.
  Premier League champions City came close when Stevan Jovetic had a header hit a post and a shot saved.
  But Olivier Giroud's dipping 25-yard strike secured a Arsenal's win,, great win oh yes,another trophy haha

  Was such a great game, Arsenal have a very strong team this season. Definitely contenders for the title this year. Also looking forward to seeing how Man U turn out. Tbh don't think they'll be that good and most likely are just overhyped haha ;D

  I think Arsenal will do better than last season. Hopefuly Alexis will give them a bit of fight and guts in the team. If Ramsey stays fit and keeps going with last season's form, or improves on it, he'll get 20+ goals. Was it 17 last season and he was out for about a third of the season!

  I must say I am quite puzzled as to why Arsene keeps persisting with Yaya Sanago. Todays result was disappointing and maybe it may make Arsene realise he needs to bring in a goalscorer. Apparently he wont bring anyone else in...maybe he sees Walcott as the answer when he returns.

  Its all about the gooners. Hoping for some decent signings today. A defender and solid defensive mid. And maybe a 20+ goal a season striker

  You guys had better appreciate what a fantastic player you have in Welbeck now. The guy is severely under-rated by non-United fans, his goal record is usually brought as "evidence" for his supposed shit-ness but what people fail to realise is 90% of time he was played on the left wing. I predict he'll score atleast 15 league goals for you this year if consistently played up front. Oh, and be prepared to see him fall over himself a lot.
