Two games in four days...Sporting v Arsenal (17:55 BST)
Who slipped this one through on the fixture computer?
I've only just stopped seeing retweeted clips of a Mesut Ozil assist from the other night and Arsenal are already back in action.
Europa League, Thursday night, barely any rest

Great excuse if they lose Wink

No Campbell, no chance?Sporting v Arsenal (17:55 BST)
[Image: 13b59519-d0c6-4128-90b6-c7639955aba0.jpg]Arsenal have never won in five visits to Portugal, scoring just two goals – both, curiously, by a player called Campbell (striker Kevin against Benfica in 1991-92 and defender Sol against Porto in the 2009-10.)WHERE'S JOEL?!

Well here we go for a good match then.

    Sporting 0-1 Arsenal
That's only Sporting's second home defeat in the last two years, with Barcelona the only other side to win in that time.It was far from a classic but what do you expect from an early kick-off on a Thursday when Arsenal played in the Premier League on Monday night?

That's the great end of a good result then. Biggrin

Yes, I'm liking Arsenal at the moment. They are amazing at times going forward and I think Guendozi and Torreira do a job that they've needed doing for ages. Still don't think much of the defence which will probably ultimately be their undoing but I like watching them.

They should have beaten Liverpool. Klopp riding his luck a bit. But cannot see anyone beating City. Their goal scoring stats are scary.

Certainly seemed that way, yet Liverpool had a perfectly good goal disallowed.

Great come from behind win from the gunners with 10 men although I would've preferred them to lose. This fight for top 4 is going to be another good one, City and Pool are guaranteed which leaves United, Chelsea or the gunners missing out and who knows Leicester might be able to hold on to this good start they've had putting another team in the mix
