  The backstory of him being stuck on the island and learning all that stuff from Slade was great and I was totally into that.
  But yeah, the stuff in Hong Kong and him having secretly worked with Waller and Argus before he meet up with Team Arrow is all a bit crappy.
  
  Has anyone else noticed how the show seems to be a haven for ex-Spartacus cast?
  The woman who plays Waller, Slade and then the bad guy in the Flash crossover were all in 2nd season of Spartacus onwards.

  Seriously, after almost every episode the show just keeps improving. Season 1 Finale was one of the best Finales I have ever seen. It is my favorite active TV show the writing has been excellent

  Well, thats all for Arrow in the uk for now but based on the last 2 episodes IT NEEDS TO RETURN NOW NOT LATER. In my opinion the Arrow / Flash crossover and the mid season finale were outstanding and a real return to form. Loved the action packed nature of the crossover episode but that mid season finale..dont wanna say too much (spoilers). I gutted that i was right (as i expect many were) at the reveal but the scene at the end of the episode, WHATS GONNA HAPPEN NOW. Any thoughts.

  The midseason finale was very good.
  And yes, that ending. There has to be something going on - we've heard enough of the characters talking about it and everything looks as it seems then that would just be stupid.

  I was so impressed with the mid season finale. On the back of that i cant wait for the show to return even though however things play out i have a feeling it will be a little anti climactic. Dont wanna spoil it for anyone who has not seen it yet but for those that have im thinking either the Flash, the team or the atom suit (a convenient early prototype) will be involved.

  The mid season finale was pretty good, there isn't any real drama at the end though. Since you know nothing serious can happen to the lead character. I think in general the comic tv shows had good mid season finales, agents of shield and Flash as well. Hopefully all 3 will be getting more series next year.

  And hopefully the shows wont take too long to return. Telly has gotten more than a little shocking of late. As the new season of Arrow (and i expect The Flash) usually start in October i shouldnt imagine we will have too long too wait. In the moment of what happened there was a degree of initial wtf but that wore off, as you say, since we know nothing serious is gonna happen to the lead.

  Yeah TV shows are gonna struggle to sell the death of the title character but I can still buy into it.
  He's not dead, he probably won't even have (another) scratch on him. But having him go to the League and then having Ra'as - anything (just about) could have happened and I would have been ok with it.

  It is really annoying that a few episodes will be out in America before it comes over here. Especially with that cliffhanger
