  Yeah, enjoyed it, got it on a stick with Deep Water Horizon/Dr Strange, if your looking for an Independence Day action movie your not gonna get it, but i thought it was a decent movie, loved the end, ''Spoiler Alert'' linier time/thinking, think another way, its fkin miles better than Religion!!! :P

  Will have to agree to disagree on this one, Vesper. Really wanted to enjoy this, nothing wrong with a more cerebral slice of sci fi (good call on the pretty lacklustre Independence Day sequel). However, despite giving this moore than its due..i was bored shitless. Perhaps the film improved later on but i cant recall mmaking it much past the hour mark and tha was being generous. I don even mind sci fi films not making a tremendous amount of sense but 'Arrival' was doing absolutely nothing for me.

  i saw this one on sky store wasnt sure weather to buy it or not, i heard good and bad about this movie, but i think ill wait for it to become free instead of paying for it in case i dont like it, since u say its not no independence day action might not be worth paying for

  No mate, theres no action at all in it, its all just about communication, if your looking for explosions and fighting aliens dont buy it, wait for it to come on telly.

  i think im gona get it just because i like the subject despite what everyone is saying about it, gona get it tonight and see what its like , ill let u know what i think of it tomorrow, surely i cant be as bad as the day the earth stood still surely not
