Some Columbia University researchers in America have designed a piece of software called "Cider" that will allow Apple apps to run on Android devices.
The software will allow the mixing and matching of Android and iOS apps which can be loaded on the phone or tablet. It was built to get around limitations for example Android users wanting to access Apple iTunes and iOS devices wanting to use Flash. Cider just uses one gadget to access both.
It will be highly useful to so if you have both devices you can use apps interchangeably.
