Anyone used the new Samsung Note ?

I have seen a number of things like the iPad and other tablets but have resisted them because none of them had a phone function built in. I do not need to be carrying around any additional boxes when I am out so I want somehting that can function as a tablet but also replaces my phone as well . The new Samsung Note seems to be something like this but has anyone used one ? If so how good are they and waht are the drawbacks with it.
