Remember the USB stick sewn in to the robe?
Let's take it back to April 2017 and Klitschko's pre-fight press conference: "I’m not Nostradamus but I recorded a video of my prediction of the fight. This stick is going to be in my robe which I’m going to wear on Saturday night."
"Do not ask me after the fight what is on the stick. The only person who is going to be able to open it up and watch it is the person who is going to buy the robe with the stick. The money will go to the Klitschko foundation."
Joshua went on to stop the Ukrainian in the 11th round, whilst the USB stick sold for £160k just before Christmas. Whoever bought it has got some real loose lips though, because its contents were recently revealed in the BBC documentary Joshua v Klitschko: Return to Wembley.
Take it away AJ... "Klitschko said: ‘I will gas out, I will try to knock him out and as I come rushing in he’ll catch me with a right hand and knock me clean out’.
"He [Klitschko] sounded like Mystic Meg, because some of those predictions came true."
Yep, he wasn't far off. But is it the best idea to be going in to a fight predicting your own demise? I suppose you could argue that it showed refreshing honest and self-awareness, but on the other hand a certain level of confidence wouldn't go amiss either, right?
