Hey, what can i say, i dislike the cheesy fluff and like the brooding, dark and genrally more violent (i take my bond's in much the same way as well lol). Would be a boring old world if we all liked the same things but im gonna have to go against the grain as far as Ryan Reynold's Green Lantern goes. Did not enjoy it at all. Suppose if dc's stab at humor failed and its doing stellar work with humor replaced by grit and darkness, stick to what works for ya.
