This is the first teaser trailer for Andor. It's a prequel series set before the events of Rogue One. Diego Luna returns as the titular character. It'll be interesting to see if any other characters from Rogue One appear in the series. I like how it seems to be taking a different approach than the other Star Wars films and TV shows, and just be focusing on how the regular people are effected by being taken over by the Empire, and how the Rebels joined up to fight back.

Despite me loving Rogue One, when Andor was first announced I wasn't that excited until I saw the first trailer. And now this new trailer and the announement that the first three episodes will premiere back-to-back has got me really excited. The Mandalorian has been my favourite Star Wars show so far, but this has the potential to be just as good. I love how the tone feels like a spy thriller. 

Looking forward to this after Obi Wan Kenobi was at pretty good series hopefully this can live up to those previous series and hopefully this much better than boba fett which I was a little slow in places and had a great few final episodes but wanted to see more of the main character. Which hopefully lots of good action scene with Diego Luna which I thought rouge one was a pretty good star wars story with Darth Vader in the background the whole time which added so much atmosphere. This looks like we will get more insight about how the empire is now controlling the galaxy and nice to see a couple returning characters from rouge one and some new faces, but am wondering if are going to see K-2SO which not hearing anything about him in this. Will be cool to see how this connects to rouge one.

Prior to it's 3 episode premier on Disney+ on the 21st September, they've released the latest trailer for Andor. Not too much is revealed about the plot in this but the spy, saboteur and assassin tone of the series fills every second of this preview of what's to come.

Episode one
The series starts Cassian on a planet called Morlana One, five years before we meet him in the film Rogue One. He visits a night club in search of a girl from the planet Kenari. After an incident whilst Cassian is leaving the club, he travels to a planet called Ferrix. We then meet some villagers on the planet Kenari. After a conversation with his droid B2emo, Cassian heads out onto the streets of Ferrix. Bsck on Morlana One at the corporate security headquarters, discussions are being had about the incident involving Cassian outside the club. Cassian has an object that is valuable to the right person. Back on Kenari the villagers have a meeting. Investigations continue. A buyer is contacted. The search is on. Cassian is running out of favours. The Kenari villagers go on a mission.

Episode two
The Kenari villagers coninue on their trek ascross the planet and encounter the after effects of the empire's colonisation. On Fennix the night with the chimes of the bell. The residents of Fennix become to be aware of Corporate Security's search request. Someone gives Corporate Security an anonymous tip and they gather any potential witnesses. The Kenari villagers get to their destination. The buyer arrives. Corporate Security travel to Fennix.

Episode three
The Kenari boy investigates further and some unexpected help arrives. Cassian makes moves to get what he needs and then get away. Corporate Security land on Fennix. The buyer arrives at the exchange but other interested parties are on their way. A climatic confrontation occurs in the streets.

Episode four
Luthen and Cassian flee Fennix, and on the way to Aldhani he offers him a job. On Courscant we see the fallout from the incident on Fennix with Dedra trying to dig deeper into whats going on but Partagaz and Blevin dismissing her hunch. Blevin disbands the Corporate Security department and Syril returns home to his mum. Luthen meets Mon and they discuss their plan to gain more financing and more rebels. Cassian meets his new team members, but they're apprehensive towards him due to the limited amount of time they've got to complete their mission.

Episode five
Skeen reveals something to the group about Cassian, and then Cassian opens up about the sole reason why he's there, and Skeen says why he hates the Empire. Lieutenant Gorn has to keep on top of things in his real job. Mon has a stressful breakfast with her daughter and husband. Kleya tells Luthen not to worry. Blevin is setting up a base of operations on Fennix, and Dedra is still following her hunch. Syril's mum wants to call in a favour to help her son, after Blevin fired him, but he's still thinking about Cassian escaping.

Episode six
With the local pilgrims gathering to witness the celestial event that they refer to as the Eye near the Empire base on Aldhani. Cassian, Vel, Cinta, Skeen, Taramyn, Nemik and Gorn join forces to start the mission that Luthen and Mon have devised. Everything goes to plan up until Cinta has to make a tough choice, and then another bump in the road appears when a guard for the Empire notices a small issue. As the heist concludes some of the group reveal their real intentions. The ramifications of this event are also noticed Blevin, Dedra and Parmagaz, as well as by Luthen and Mon.

Episode seven
Cassian goes back home but things have changed and he looks to pastures new.. Luthen has a disagreement with Mon after the success on Aldhani. Syril finds it awkward to adjust to his new surroundings. Blevin and Deedra have a disagreement during an ISB meeting. Mon seeks to gain more allies. Kleya asks Vel to tie up some loose ends.

Episode eight
Cassian finds himself in a very tough situation. Luthen meets up with an old ally. Mon has gained a new ally. Dedra forms an allegiance with someone that has information about the events that occurred on Fennix. Bix is apprehended and interrogated.
