A crow called Russell has been attacking people in Sheffield and causing a few nasty yet hilarious injustices.Russell likes to haunt the Brincliffe Edge Wood area where he patiently waits for passers-by and then dive bombs them, pecking them in the head.
His victims have taken to Facebook to share their ordeal, with one woman claiming to have been hit by Russell four times on different days. One dude even ended up with a big gash on the head after Russell bombed him. Here’s what victim Sam Howard has to say:
Quote:I was walking through the woodland with my girlfriend. Everything seemed normal, nothing amiss. Then the next thing I know I get walloped on the back of the head by what felt like a sack of spuds.
My girlfriend screamed, I was shocked. We saw a black shadow flying away and assumed it was a one-off freak accident by a rogue crow. As we warned another passer-by about the incident, she mentioned the Facebook post. Turns out Russell has been terrorising the neighbourhood for the last few days.
Another victim of Russell’s has said that he showed no remorse after attacking her, and just stood there glaring at her instead. What an aggy little prick! -

the local copper was playing 1st hole on the golf course where I worked, a magpie swooped and struck him in the head. yay maggie. then while playing 4th hole, which ran adjacent to 1st, maggie got him again. deserved it, he was a proper bastard. the cop, not the maggie-he was a champion! -

Surprised the story hasn't developed into a discovery that the crow is a Russian trained spy. They are just testing the limits of how far they can infiltrate our society with animals before we react.
