  Love the Assassin's Creed games. Great gameplay mixed with engaging stories set in some excellently reproduced historical settings. Being the history nut I am I was bound to enjoy them I think lol. Now to rank them in order of my favourite to least, wasn't easy deciding on the final order but here goes..
  
  1. AC 2
  2. Brotherhood
  3. Black Flag
  4. Revelations
  5. AC
  6. AC 3
  
  AC 2 and Brotherhood are a close 1 and 2 as the story and characters where so excellent in both. I can't rate Liberation as I never played it I'm afraid. As for the new ones, Unity and Rogue, I am still in the process of playing them at the moment.

  Brootherhood by far is mine think because it was the first assassins creed i have played. i still have to play unity looks pretty good form the trailers just haven't been able to afford it lol

  Is that the piece of shit that Ubisoft squeezed out even though it wasn't really ready for a full release?
  
  Maybe when I go next gen I'll eventually get it but I'm not running out to get it. Rogue I'm not much sold on either.
  
  I know some people don't like it but I quite enjoy the present day stuff so one of things that I didn't enjoy massively about Black Flag was all the Abstergo stuff. I liked being able to find all the hidden stuff but even then I didn't actually listen to all the stuff.

  Personally, I don't think anything beats brotherhood! AC2 improved greatly over the original but Brotherhood managed to refine some of the features that AC2 didn't quite get right and placed it in a great setting.
  
  I wouldn't go as far to say that the franchise has gone downhill since then but certainly Unity was a complete let down. Aside from it being almost unplayable at launch, the new free running mechanics are flawed at best and the campaign & multiplayer leave a lot to be desired in my opinion.
  
  I just hope they don't repeat their mistake and release the new London themed AC coming this year too early; they need to get this one right or they will lose a large part of their fan base.
