Alfa Romeo: what's all the fuss about?
If you're under the age of 40 you'll probably struggle to recall them ever actually bringing out a properly good car. We've all seen pics or old footage of their classics from the 60s and 70s but there comes a time where trading on past glories has to stop.
Enter the new Giulia Quadrifoglio, a rival for the BMW M3 which seems to have elicited unanimous boners from motor journalists the world over. Henry Catchpole certainly seems impressed with it in this latest Drivetribe video, and then he has a go in an restomod Alfaholics GTA-R 290, which is pretty special too... And that, ladies and gents, is what all the fuss is about. |

RE: Alfa Romeo: what's all the fuss about?
I don’t why it’s taken so long, but here we go: a GT Junior and the whole of the Donnington Heritage Loop at our disposal. So of course the day was going to be brilliant whatever happened. I didn’t quite know how brilliant. Alfas are cool again thanks to the Giulia. There’s no better time to wax lyrical about them. People are saying that with Alfa Romeo’s new line up (let's ignore the Stelvio for now) they are finally getting back to their old roots.
