  Yet another reason to stay off of facebook for a day. It turned into a 3 day memorial on the site for Bowie and now this will bring all the "sympathisers" out of the woodwork to explain what a massive effect Rickman had on their lives, or as I've already seen, "these celebs are dropping like flies" completely marginalising the deaths of two human beings just because two well known people died within days of each other.
  
  Prepare for the trend of the day to be yet another bunch of throw away RIPs. Don't get me wrong I'm sure there are some who mean this whole heartedy but really, for the most part it's a bandwagon that nearly every cunt jumps on, selling their condolences for likes and a postion on the facebook/twitter leader board that no one will ever win. Great way to honour the dead, not cheap or degrading to those who have passed at all.

  You got a point though Foxy all the bleeding hearts will be fighting to get their particular anecdote out about how they nearly met Alan Rickman once and it changed their lives, hoping that the local TV/Evening paper in their area will give them a much needed ego boost as they never managed to get on Celeb Big Bro :(

  Eltons mourning capacity is exemplary, he cried a river before performing at Dodi Fayed's birds funeral.

  Good call on Galaxy Quest, Clitterbug (shame a sequel was never made of that, dont know who they would cast as an effective fill in for Alan Rickmans character as he was great). A fantstic actor with a great screen prescence. While he had not always appeared in the greatest of films, his performances were always great. Struggling to think of many actors or actresses who were able pull off such a dry humour and wit or circasm so well. R I P Alan Rickman.

  Enjoyed this fella in the films of his i saw and another one of ours gone :( Will always remember him playing the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves :P And then of course there's him playing Severus Snape in Harry Potter.
  RIP Mr. Rickman.
