  Any one been watchin Africa on bbc1 on wed nite? brilliant i luv these kind of progs and the beeb are the best at it by far! the filmography is second to none! and of course Attenborough is the king of the understated, excellent!

  Russy get onto it m8 its by far the best thing on telly at the mo, the 1st episode was about desert, 2nd plains and next week is jungle, its repeated on bbc2 on sunday 6pm, watch it m8, an hour well spent

  Re'emergance of ivory poaching! seen this on the news last night and im absolutley fucking furious/heartbroken by it! in the 1990s most if not all African countrys signed up to a bill preventing the trade in ivory but along with the growth of the chineese/eastern economies has come a new found interest in ivory products, so the poachers are back out in the bush supplying the black market. Over 25000 elephants were slautered in africa last year and most of the ivory was trafficed through Nigeria and onto China, it was bad enough to know about the illegal trade in rhino horn but now this aswell! its an absolute disgrace!

  Well just watched the last episode of Africa, brilliant, ive loved the whole series, a triumph of the soul! the one night, ney, hour of the week i get to watch something i like! althouth there has been someone who has enjoyed it just as much as me, our 'Mollie' she has stood in front of the telly every week and quietly whimpered through each episode, except for when the lions were on! then she cried n squeeked loudly! i can hardly hear what Davey Att is saying, but it dosnt matter, she never fails to make me laugh going on one at 'The Cats' just a shame it was the last one, dont know what will replace it next week, probably something crap! and ill be in here instead! lol!
