A GOOD DEED BRIGHTENS A DARK WORLD
With all the heartbreaking stories that are shoved in our faces on a daily basis it's sometimes easy to forget that are still some truly selfless people out there. This post is dedicated to all the amazing good deeds that are taking place all around the world.
This one really got me. Los Angeles resident Mohamed Bzeek has spent the last 20 years taking in terminally ill children from LA's sprawling foster care foundation. He is the only one in the county who will take in the children. He says: Quote:The key is, you have to love them like your own. I know they are sick. I know they are going to die. I just do my best as a human being. Melissa Testerman, a DCFS intake coordinator who finds placements for sick children said "Mohamed is the only one that would take a child who would possibly not make it." What an incredible person. Darn it, somebody's been been chopping onions up in here. Follow me on Twitter: @ReedeFox |
