A company in Japan has started holding funerals for unwanted sex dolls that will set you back up to £650 a pop. Seems a bit steep for unwanted spunk bucket.

The funeral is held by Japanese porn star, Rei Kato, who then gives the order for the dolls to be destroyed in a machine, kind of like a doll cremation except they’re shredded and not burnt. However, if you’d rather not see your doll decapitated by a machine, you can upgrade to the premium plan which allows you to watch as Hutu doll is taken apart piece by piece.

The pics on the company’s website are super creepy and show the dolls surrounded by flowers. If you think there would be no demand for this sort of thing then you’d be wrong, because apparently loads of dudes want to give their old dolls a decent send off.

Japan's Human Love Doll Company is offering three funeral packages with prices starting from £200 for the most basic plan. Each plan comes with a certificate and a commemorative photo and video. The premium plan AKA the ‘doll angel’ plan will set you back £650 and allows the owner to go with the doll to the processing facility after the funeral, where it is then taken apart in front of them. A worker will also read out the doll’s eulogy. The owner can also take away a piece of the doll as a keepsake. Ha, I wonder if anyone is like “I’ll keep the minge please”.
