  Firstly you should try and see the 2 seasons of boardwalk empire its been shown on uk tv but only on subscription hopefully one of the terestrial channels will pick it up in the future. Another show that will be shown soon on channel 4 is homeland, this is a show based on a american pow he is believed to have been turned against his country whilst held captive in iraq. If you know how to id advice you to download all the shows and watch them back to back i think that its really that good

  Boardwalk Empire for sure thats awesome! I would also advise people to watch Game of Thrones though it is a very British cast its still american. Hawaii Five-0 is quality too. Just a few off the top of my head

  I`ve never seen homeland, i`ve never even heard of it before i read that so can`t say much about that, but i have seen Boardwalk Empire and it is a great program, shame the 2nd series just ended and the new one won`t be on till about next year.
