A 5-year-old San Diego boy has outwitted the sharpest minds at Microsoft — he's found a backdoor to the Xbox.

Kristoffer Von Hassel managed to log in to his father's Xbox Live account. When the password log-in screen appeared, Kristoffer simply hit the space button a few times and hit enter.

Some of the brightest and best hackers should hang their heads in shame... although they probably knew already and just hoped it would take Microsoft longer to find out.

How do we know his dad's password wasn't just a couple of spaces?

Makes you wonder how many other services could be exploited like this, let this be a lesson in properly testing your online services.

Punching in a few spaces doesn't make you a hacker, it makes you a little shit trying the simplest of ways to get into to someones account. If I was the Dad i'd keep the rewards for myself. That'll show him.
