Imagine my suprise when checking out the new films to stream / download, what appeared but Spectre. Suffice to say i was all over that. Am going to be checking it out with boxing day lunch in a bit. Will post my review after.

Did as i said i would, sat there during boxing day lunch watching this. My verdict : i really enjoyed it but i didnt love it. Yeah, it was a strong entry with great performances from Craig and Waltz. There were some great set pieces but it felt a little plodding for me. The bond girls of the film, while pretty good, were instantly forgettable. Personally im not too sure about the humour, preffered the darkness of the earlier Craig enteries but thats personal preference. Thought Batista's Mr Hinx did a pretty stand up job. For me as far as Craigs efforts go my order of preference to date are 1st Casino Royale, 2nd Skyfall, 3rd Spectre and a pretty distant 4th Quantum of Solace.
