9 games tonight!
Arsenal v Hull 19:45
They might have beat Liverpool at the weekend but Hull are as long as 14/1 to repeat the trick tonight. Pretty emphatic, that. On the flip side, Arsenal are 1/5 so whichever way you look there’s not much value to be had. Best I’ve seen is the Gunners to overcome a -3 handicap at 7/2, and Ramsey to score first, obviously, but even that’s only 11/2 now. They’re taking notice.
Prediction: 3-0
Liverpool v Norwich 19:45
The Canaries aren’t getting much love either, 9/1 for the win here. Don’t fancy that but they won at the weekend, and Liverpool lost, so how about the draw at 5/1? Could happen. Suarez will probably score first but at 5/2 it’s probably not worth the risk. With Sturridge and Coutinho still out, under 1.5 match goals at 17/4 might be worth a look as well.
Prediction: 1-0 (9/1)
Man Utd v Everton 19:45
David Moyes never won at Old Trafford when he was Everton manager, but if you fancy Roberto Martinez to go and pull it off at the first attempt, it’s yours at 4/1. As good as the Toffees have been this year, I can’t quite see that happening, but the draw at 11/4 is tempting. Lukaku to score first at 7/1 is decent value, and I quite like the look of 7/4 on United to win with Rooney scoring. Tough call…
Prediction: 1-1 (7/1)
Southampton v Aston Villa 19:45
Artur Boruc’s out, and Villa could have some fun with Southampton’s inexperienced keeper Pablo Gazzaniga tonight. 12/5 on 3.5+ match goals looks a goer and despite his barren spell of late, Christian Benteke to score any time at 9/4 isn’t to be sniffed at. However many Villa score though, I reckon the Saints will get more and sneak the win. Jay Rodriguez to score first at 5/1? He did it at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, inside 13 seconds!
Prediction: 3-2 (25/1)
Stoke v Cardiff 19:45
16th v 17th, neither are in great form and this could be a nervy one. Cardiff haven’t been quite as awful as Stoke recently, but I think home advantage might just see Mark Hughes’ side through. Under 1.5 match goals is 2/1, and pretty likely too.
Prediction: 1-0 (6/1)
Sunderland v Chelsea 19:45
The Blues haven’t exactly been flying of late, but their 2nd half performance against Southampton on Sunday was an improvement. Looking at the league table it’s hard to see them coming away with anything other than the 3 points, 4/7 on that seems halfway generous. Quite like the look of BTTS and Chelsea to win at 12/5 too.
Prediction: 1-2 (15/2)
Swansea v Newcastle 19:45
Surely the Geordies can’t make it 5 on the bounce? The away win and the draw are both 23/10 here, either’s good but more so the draw for me. A double chance on those two outcomes is 1.65. Got to be Remy in the scorer markets, 7/1 to score first or 7/4 any time.
Prediction: 1-1 (7/1)
Fulham v Tottenham 20:00
It’s gonna take more than a change of manager to sort Fulham out. Spurs could do with a win and will probably get it, but I can’t see them putting 3 or 4 past the Cottagers like everyone else seems to be doing at the moment. Having said that, Spurs with a -2 handicap at 17/4 is tempting.
Prediction: 0-2 (15/2)
West Brom v Man City 20:00
City have had a nice run of home games recently and looked frightening. Back on the road tonight though, and 4/7 for the win starts to seem a touch risky. They’ll probably come through of course, even if it’s not particularly emphatic. The away win and BTTS at 21/10 looks about right. Sergio Aguero’s clearly going to score, 4/5 any time or 7/2 first.
Prediction: 1-2 (7/1)
Accumulator: £5 on wins for Arsenal, Southampton, Chelsea, Spurs and Man City could return nearly £43.
