Yes he bloody does and this week was a tour de force of delights. Take a walk with me.

Wednesday saw my first dalliance with using a Sous Vide and while I didn't ace the vacuum sealing part perfectly the results were still fantastic. 45 mins in the Sous Vide followed but 3 mins in searing hot cast iron to finish.



Then Friday started as Friday's should with Burgers and Beers. My favourite the Fried Onion Smashed Patty Burgers to be precise. This is literally the easiest burger you could ever make provided you have a cast iron pan. Served up with Garlic Chive and Parmesan French Fries.





Friday was just the warm up though for Saturday was all about big BEEF! Sous Vide was out again with me getting the vacuum-sealing spot on. Bathed with rosemary, thyme and garlic it saw 3 hours in the Sous Vide before being taken to cast iron to form a crust, melt the fat cap and for basting. Served with no need for resting time.











And what Sunday would be complete without a Roast. This time the chicken was roasted in the cast iron skillet ready to be broken down and a gravy made from chicken oil and drippings.
