Jermain Defoe's completed his move to Sunderland. It's straight swap with Toronto for Jozy Altidore so there's no fee involved, but he will be earning £70,000 a week for the next three and a half years. What a time to be alive.
Morgan Schneiderlin has made it pretty clear that he wants to be playing Champions League football next year, and if Southampton don't finish in the top four this season he'll more than likely be off. Now, there's every chance Arsenal will be above the Saints come May, but with the table as it is at present, does it not seem pretty unlikely that he's agreed to join the Gunners in the summer for £25m?
Man Utd's top four spot isn't looking as nailed on as it was a few weeks back. Nothing another £150m spree can't fix though, get ready for the January arrivals of Kevin Strootman, Mats Hummels and one of Seamus Coleman or Nathaniel Clyne! Hmm, that looks more like a £100m spree to me. Arturo Vidal to make up the ridiculous numbers?
