Quite a bit to get through today, starting with a rumour that's likely to keep on giving, and giving, and giving... Apparently Cristiano Ronaldo wants to go back to Man Utd, but not until NEXT summer, which means we'll probably have to hear about it on the regular for the next twelve months. Cosmic.
Gareth Bale's in Spain ahead of his move to Real Madrid and, according to the Mirror, has agreed a 6 year contract worth £97m, which is quite a lot really. Erik Lamela's arrival at White Hart Lane is imminent though, with a £25m fee agreed between Spurs and Roma.
Karim Benzema's agent has said the France striker won't be joining Arsenal this month, but the Gunners are still in for his teammate Angel Di Maria as well as Valencia keeper Vicente Guaita, and Newcastle pair Tim Krul and Yohan Cabaye too. It turns out Cabaye has actually been refusing to play, but looks more likely to wind up at PSG than in north London. The Ligue 1 champions are willing to pay £17m.
Chelsea are either ready to bid £40m for Wayne Rooney, or have sacked him off in favour of Samuel Eto'o. Take your pick.
Stoke, Cardiff and Swansea all fancy a bit of Peter Odemwingie, and the Potters are also keen on Man City striker John Guidetti.
Finally, we've just about got time for talk of a third 'derisory' bid in the space of a week. Daniel Agger, to Barcelona, for £10m. Can't see it myself.
