THE PEERLESS GT
Rare as rocking horse shit, these. Peerless were only in existence for 3 years before going bust in 1960, during which time just 325 GTs were built.

Basically a Triumph TR3 wrapped in a fibreglass body, it was always unlikely to take the racing world by storm and its one appearance at Le Mans (1958) ended in a disappointing 16th place finish.

Still, it looks pretty cool, and this guy's still racing his 1959 model now. Check it out.
