They were a mid table side, just like Liverpool were last season. Martinez has, in my opinion, taken them up a level this year and I think they're currently better than Arsenal
Well, for a start Moyes never managed to beat one of the top 4 whilst at Everton, Martinez if i'm not mistaken has beaten United, Arsenal and Chelsea this season aswell as getting them their highest points total in the Premier League with 3 games to go. They're also playing very nice football now. The issue is he now faces the same problem Moyes had - no funds, so whether they can continue this form over the next few years remains to be seen.
Oh, and they beat you 3-0 and are 1 point behind. ;)
