It did all seem a little too fall into placey, if you know what i mean, with Joe having an already established ***** fall into his lap like that. One of my few critiscisms of the second series was the number of occassions where things just conveniently fell into place. With seemingly nowhere to turn or nowhere to go, things would magically start falling into place. I dont think the first season did that as much. Its only a minor gripe though, i still love the show. I know what you mean thisscotsman. Very few members of the new group got even a reasonable amount of screen time. Just there to make the on screen numbers up. Too be honest, even the kill squad i struggled to care about but for me fortunatly, there were more than enough other strong characters.
