RE: MATCH FIXING

when this whole match fixing thing cmae out it got me thinking about other ways you could cheat the bookies but in a more subtle way.
for example, now you can bet on managers being sacked or leaving, player transfers and even the colour of a presenters tie (as i saw on transfer deadline day) i thought, cant these people with inside knowledge or the people them selves just tell a pal whats going on and they can bet a sum on it before it goes pubic and the odds go bad.
for example, if lambert wanted to leave villa and knew he was going to do so, he could tell a friend or someone he was going to leave and they place a huge bet on it, but not like tens of thousands so it gets flagged up, then he goes public and cashes in when he leaves? immoral and illegal i know, but surely easier than bribing officials and getting tattled on.
