  I went to see it, it's good.
  
  The plots intersting enough and i like Emma Stone.
  
  Rhys Ifans has come along way since Twin Town too, although he's still not sexy.
  
  Most important thing though given it's a superhero movie, the pace is good and the action is entertaining without being too unbelievable. It's not the Avengers but it's still worth a watch.

  i thoroughly agree, it was a great film but a different sort of film to the avengers. I think a much better comparison would be to Batman Begins, its a grittier sadder/darker retelling of an origin story we all know and love
  
  all in all a great film and i really liked the little teaser at the end, i like comics and i have no idea who it was supposed to be unlike in the avengers when i knew it was Thanos straight off the back

  hopefully it will be as good as the first few. it seemed to go a bit downhill after the first one but this one seems to be going the right way shame about tobey maguire not cast as spiderman but yes to emma stone

  andrew garfield is a much better peter parker than tobey maguire was, and yes emma stone is great as gwen stacey but i do pine for mary jane aka kirsten dunst

  I liked Kirsten and Tobey to a degree but i think they are now a little too old to be playing the characters again especially as it's set right back in school. I think they found the right people for a reboot.

  I cant decide if this is a piss take of the other ones or if its a genuine film. I thought toby maguire was pretty good but cant stand the sight of kirstan dunst

  having just seen it. it showed elements of previous spidermans which was interesting. i thought it was a decent enough film but not one that you would watch over and over

  I watched this wasn't impressed, it took a ridiculous amount of time to get going, they botched the origin (uncle ben's death was pathetic) didn't like Andrew Garfield as Spider-man, his personality didn't change when he put the suit on, he was arrogant from the begginning and never seemed the least bit nerdy (important part of the character) and in on scene just came off as sadistic.
  
  Just thought it was a terrible film, don't expect much from a sequel.
