  The new and the last series of Eureka is going to start tomorrow on Syfy TV . I have already programmed the box to record the series but I will be really sorry when it ends. I am told that the producers have made it finish properly because they knew it was the last series but will have to see what they have done.

  Actually i read in a magazine that they were originally told they had another series after the one showing now, but were then told after that they didn`t after they`d already started filming the last episode, they let them reshoot the last one, but that still sounds like it will be a rushed episode trying to cram in all the endings to various storys to me.

  I bloody love this show. Its been brilliant from the very first episode, Its a shame its going to come to an end after the current series though.

  Have enjoyed the shows so far and given the current situation you can see how there can be a logical conclusion to the whole series with the current story line. As you say this is a big shame as this has been a very good show from the start and given so much of the current dross that is being aired it is a shame this will finish soon.

  while it is a great show, i'd rather they end it now than try and drag it on for another few series, as to be honest they've covered a hell of a lot of stuff, different reality's, time travel, space travel etc... etc... if they were to carry on it would run the risk of just feeling like it was re treading old ground etc...

  I am glad they are being allowed to end it properly but I am gutted that they are not being allowed to get another series . The writers based on the quality of the episodes we have seen are not struggling to find new ideas and interesting themes but I do agree that once it becomes forced then it would be better if it stopped.

  Now watched the final episode and have to admit it was a bit of a let down while it did end things and left an option in case it was ever decided to make any more it was a bit of a cop out .
