(17/01/2012, 21:31)humiliateme Wrote: well yes iron man 2 was fine, but just think in batman beyond if say it was a typical beyond fight with batman flying around etc... then the backdrop would more than likely be cgi, batman would be cgi, the enemy would quite likely be cgi, i just think it would take a lot of skill to pull off a film with as much cgi, as beyond would need to be done right, and not have it turn out crap. it would also need a pretty massive budget for the same reasonOh yeah i know i remember the parts where terry does lots of jumping around and stuff so yeah someone who didn`t have the gymnastic skill in a part like that would mean reliance on a stunt double.
the reason i said about the gymnastics is because in beyond there's actually quite a few parts were terry is jumping around, flying off walls and all sorts of things as himself i.e without the suit on because at first i thought the suit was helping him but apparently the character of terry is just a very good gymnast.
in regards to the suit he would ware, while i would obviously like it to be like the comics, i can't really see that happening as in the comics it's pretty much just flat black, skin tight looking but with no muscles showing, no belt showing etc... so i can't see that really working in a film, however i think something like the attached might be quite cool but with quite a bit less red
