  Well he's back with a new album and he's out on the interview circuit, making outlandish claims, in order to promote it.  
  
  Get a load of this zinger, as told to the Guardian: “I’m hesitant to talk about this because it sounds either like nonsense, or self-aggrandising”.
  
  He goes on to explain how after the launch of iTunes he'd apparently told Apple that they needed their own mp3 player...
  
  “A year or two later they brought me to a hotel room at the Crosby in New York, handed me the first iPod and said: ‘Steve [Jobs] wanted you to have this.’ I said: ‘You do know at some point this is going to have a camera and a phone attached to it?’ And they laughed at me and said that could never happen.”
  
  Joke was on them, Moby.  Joke was on them.
  
  What do you reckon? Is he telling the truth? Or taking us all for a load of sorry mugs?

  It's no so wild is it. I remember walking down Great Portland Street with my ipod thinking that the next step was to add phone capabilities as well. The image I had in my head at the time wasn't that of the first iphone, more of a mix of ipod and a motorola but still though of it before it came to pass. I reckon Moby could have easily thought these things and was sure connected enough to say it to the right people.

  I think Moby is a bit full of it. Maybe he thinks if he claims this that people might actually find him interesting and not the living embodiment of the colour beige... He’s not quite succeeded, now he just seems like boring fantasist.
  Though my view could be tinted by the fact that I don’t like Moby, does it show?

  I remember in 1985, thinking it would be good if they made computer monitors with colours instead of just 2 shades of green. If I ever get my hands on the slimeball who stole my intellectual property....
