  Get Out creator Jordan Peele has announced that he would “seriously consider” a sequel to the critically-acclaimed film. Sounds like a done deal to me!
  
  
   
  Get Out was without a doubt one of the most successful movies of last year, costing a measly $4.5 million to make and grossing $290 million at the box office. The movie was such a success that it went on to receive four Oscar nominations for Best Actor, Best Picture, Best Director and Best Screenplay. Obviously with crazy stats like that, Hollywood was itching to make a sequel so The Hollywood Reporter cornered creator, Jordan Peele to see if there is any chance of another movie. Here's what he said:

  I'd be very excited to see what happens after the 1st movie. Although there is an alternate ending which I won't say what happens but its very dark and closes the story line up at least for the films protagonist.

  Only recently watched the Get Out (it came on Sky), and while it was good I don’t see how a sequel wouldn’t just be covering the same ground again. Only this time without the surprises, I can see why the film studio would want Peele to make more though (low budget and high box office). Be more interested in seeing what Peele will do with the planned Twilight Zone relaunch though personally.

  It's just been confirmed. Jordan Peele said in an interview, “I am currently writing it, and I’ll direct for Universal this year". Very excited to see what he does with it next.

  It’ll be interesting to see if they can make it as interesting after the ending revealed the big secret of the plot. There’s chance it could just be treading the same ground again and just be another unnecessary sequel.
  That said, hopefully it turns out to be one of the rare occasions where a sequel maintains the quality of the original.

  if u ask me they need to do a sequel to make up for the shity ending in get out, and make it way more scary because all i heard was it was the best scary movie, and it was good but expected way more, looking forward to it though
