There's a new horror in town and it's been receiving rave reviews at this years Sundance film festival, with critics calling it 'a total game changer'.
Hereditary stars Toni Collette and Gabriel Byrne as the parents of a family dealing with the death of a loved one. As they dig deeper into their ancestry, they start to fear about what they might have inherited. Check out the trailer, that includes ants, a headless pigeon and someone on fire. Just what you want from a horror!
It certainly looks hella creepy. Time Out's film critic, Joshua Rothkopf called the film “a new generation’s The Exorcist” while The Playlist's Jordan Ruimy wrote that it “feels like the culmination of the last 50 years of horror”. Some pretty epic reviews there.
Hereditary is due for UK release in June 2018.
