  The thing about Black Mirror season 4, is that nobody really knows anything about it. The trailers so far have only shown a few seconds of material. The promo posters and episode titles give us a smidge but not enough to get excited by...until now!
  
  
  
  With the new season set to be released on Friday 29th December on Netflix, creators Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones give us this full length trailer and it's incredible! Take a look:
  
  
  
  It's a pity they couldn't release it on Christmas day. TV is always gash on Christmas day, and I could have used some excitement after the meal and pressies were done. Ah well, I'll be holding out for Friday 29th December.

  Suffering from a lack of decent tv at the moment (fucking january), decided to see whatt all the fuss was about concerning 'Black Mirror'. Have literally started from season 1 episode 1 and was hoping if anyone could confirm whether things improve over time. Whilst the message was clear, entertainment wise i thought episode 1 of seaon 1 was boring drivel (had to watch in 2 segments as fell asleep part way through on 1st viewing through sheer boredom). Really dont wanna waste anymore time on this if that's pretty much the standard throughout.

  yeah gymaddict i was like that at first to, but i started watching it for a little bit but couldnt keep up, not because it wasnt good, it was ok, but i just had better series to watch at the time, and yes i do think it gets better but i dont know if black mirror is for u maybe

  Series 1 ep 1 is the least impressive of the series, season 2 gets really good, season 3 becomes overly hollywood and lacks the core feel of the show but I like that something less bleak was attempted and features one of my favourite episodes 'San Junipero'. Season 4 came back and took it back to the grit of season 1 with a healthy balance of season 3 Hollywood production values.
  
  Noteable episodes: 1 Million Merits, The Entire History of You, White Bear, I'll be Right back, San Junipero, and int he last series Metalhead which shows you what it would more likely be like if something like Skynet were to turn on humanity.
  
  As it's an anthology show jump in on some of those, it won't affect your viewing of the other episodes.
  
  There is also an xmas special which collates 3 stories into one meta narrative which is a really good watch.

  Thanks for the critique, Dony and thanks for the heads up on the stand outs, FantasticMR. The fam and i wound up watching the 1st 2 episodes of season 1 and really didnt enjoy either of them. You say things improve considerably season 2. Was originally just gonna wash my hands with the whole thing and move on..now im thinking maybe i should explore your recommendation, FantasticMR (afer all, tv, in my opinion, still kinda sucks at the moment).

  Finally watched the last episode of season 4 last month, and it didn’t disappoint. Personal favourite of the season is the USS Mcallister episode. The last one went dark though, and I do enjoy that Brooker doesn’t hold back on the darkness. Slightly worrying that some people seem to take the technology shown in it as inspiration mind...
