Ashes 2017/18
Fun fact: 7 of the last 8 Ashes series' have been won by the host nation, the exception being when England retained the urn on Australian turf back in 2010-11.

With Australia well placed to take a 2-0 lead in this series, it's more than likely that 7 of 8 will become 8 of 9.

I suppose this run of results is preferable to the Aussies winning 8 in a row, as they did between 1989 and 2003, but does anyone else find themselves losing interest?  It's hard to get excited when the winner is pretty much nailed on before a ball's even been bowled.

RE: Ashes 2017/18
Probably a reason this is on BT Sport, so not many will see it, Austrailia currently sitting on a 253 run lead, with 9 wickets remaining, possibly score 300 or so in the second inning before they declare again,

RE: Ashes 2017/18
Nice little spell for England right after I'd completely written them off, I see.

Might be something in the ol' reverse-curse...

England are shit! An embarrassment!  Go home now!

That ought to do it.

RE: Ashes 2017/18
Looks like we might have a decent series on our hands after all.

Going in to the final day England need 178 runs to win, with six wickets remaining... Can they??
