  I purchased this as I kept hearing how brilliant it was/is, and as I do enjoy anime.
  
  Boy, was I disappointed.
  
  On watching this I kept drifting off.
  
  I found it very dull..........which I did not think I would ever say about anime.

  You're not alone in this, madpolac683. Didnt rush t the cinema to see this but certainly did jump on it as soon as it appeared available for viewin at home. Whilst many may not condone watching films on the dodge, 'Ghost in the shell' is a classic example of why i do..so much promised, such complete bollocks delivered. Only compliment i will pay the film is that those geisha looking robots (u know the ones) looked pretty cool..apart from that, a complete waste of time.

  oh dont say that i been looking forward to seeing the movie to the anime for a little minute now lol, im still going to watch it but damnn u killed my hopes for this movie, all good though

  My initial post is focused on the anime NOT the movie, as I personally enjoyed the movie, the anime........I did not. The anime is downright boring.

  Oh whoops..thought you were referencing the movie, Madpolac683. Have never seen but am aware of the original anime but i still stand by my personal critique of the live action film, hated it..very, very underwhelming (really dont get all the fuss over Scarlett Johansen as well..does nothing for me lol). For me there are far, far superior manga/anime to live action films out there and for me the best of those come from the same neck of the woods as their original anime..strange that.
