AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT TRAILER

RE: AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT TRAILER
Wish this show would make its sodding mind up..just when im contemplating throwing in the towel with the season, episode 4 managed to turn things around a little for me (SPOILER ALERT and no, it not because of Evan Peters implied wanking in the shower haha). First and formost the episode was all the better as it almost completely dispensed with Sarah Paulsons whingy, whiny, annoying character nd her equally pointless partner (well, until THAT TWIST). Evan Peters character really shone in this episodes, coupled with some actually half decent gore..the combo of tense scenes and graphic gore made the episode more reminiscent of the erlier seasons (ie pre Roanoke). Well, its hanging on by the skin of its teeth.

RE: AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT TRAILER
Argh, this bloody season..for evry thing it manages to get right it manages to hold it back with the weaker elements. Considering this weeks episode, the strong being the focus on Kai's group and how they resolve issues with the weak links in the group (painfully..thats how). With onecharacter reveal that didnt exactly shock but at the same time was interesting to see how he fitted / fits into proceedings. Kudos also for keeping the horror level up as well..and then we get Sarah Paulsons annoying, whingy, whiney, neurotic character who, with any luck although unlikely, will get bumped off real soon as she is holding the season back.

RE: AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT TRAILER
And now, with the next episode sorta under the belt, were back on track again..the bad track that is. Granted the episode may have improved but this weeks instalment heavily featured Sarah Paulsons whingy, whiney, fucking annoying character..possible the one character to bring the whole season down several pegs. Fell asleep halfway through and dont feel the need to return to the episode..will resume with next weeks (someone on the show bump her character off already).

RE: AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT TRAILER
Im assuming you are refering to watching the current series and not one of the past AHS series, Dony? As for the most recent episode, afraid it was yet another case of 'passed out half way through as was bored to tears'. Im all for introducing additional characters into series, even at this  late'ish stage so long as they are strong characters and actually enhance proceedings. Instead, tihis weeks addition/s were/are just boring despite their actions, past and present. Again, i really dont feel the need or desire to watch the remainder of the episode.

RE: AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT TRAILER
Whoops, slight delay in replying Dony. Hope you are enjoying the various seasonns of 'American Horror Story' Dony? The season im commenting is the season that recently finished its run on 'Fox'. Each of the seasons come under the 'AHS' banner but all tell different tales with actors and actressess from previous seasons appearing as different characters (for the most part). each new season. Did get around to finishing AHS: Cult a cople of weeks ago and while it wasnt as bad as 'Roanoke' it certainly wasnt on par with earlier seaons. Suppose the twist during the final episode was a nice touch with events coming full ircle and a victim seemingly taking up the mantle of the person who treated her oh so badly. Id say roll on the inevitable next season but as the last 2 seasons really had dropped the ball, colour me not exactly enthusiastic.
