...and that would be the most logical explanation too, especially when taking in to account his long and illustrious broadcasting career.

But if the sculptor had intended for it to be a microphone then surely he would have made it look like one, and not a dildo?

And to have him sitting on the corner of the seat makes it look like he has a stiffy! Which probably explains the porn mag and dildo combination, also the hair is wrong everyone knows her had a wig so why wasn't there a comedy hairstyle to glorify the fact that it was stuck on with titty tape!
