RE: ENGLAND & ALL INTERNATIONALS...
Bit harsh don't you think? :s you cant win can you, oh but they did :D

A Spanish youth coach is sacked after a 8 a side match, his side wins 25-0

The coach of a Spanish youth team has been sacked after a 25-0 win - because the club's management decided the margin of victory went against the spirit of the game.
After defeating fellow Valencia side Benicalap C on 3 June, Serranos B's under-11 manager was removed from his position.
"We believe in encouraging respect for your opponents. After the result, we decided that the manager should leave," Pablo Alcaide, who helps run the side, told El Pais.

Oh well Gareths job is safe Rolleyes

Wayne Rooney retires from International football

With a number of reports circulating that Wayne Rooney could be called back into the England squad this week, the striker has taken matters into his own hands.
The 31-year-old attacker has retired from international football, it has been confirmed today.

Rooney completed a summer move to Everton this summer to play regular football with the hope of continuing his England career but seems to have decided this is the right time to call it a day.
The former Three Lions captain is the nation’s record goalscorer with 53 goals in 119 caps spanning a 14-year international career.

The boy done good we wont see what he done I doubt again. Cool  :D

Don't think he ever fully lived up to his potential (or the hype at least) but you don't end up record goalscorer for Man Utd and England unless you've got something about you.

Pretty sure history will be kinder to him than the level of stick he gets now though.  And as I said when he signed, can see him surprising a few people at Everton too.  He aint dead yet.

Good luck to him.

A good win for the French last night but you got to feel sorry for the dutch they are like us (Arsenal) they,ve got all the right jigsaw pieces but cant fit them to make the right picture :(

I had a good laugh at Portugal.Ok they won but to let the Faroe Islands score against you is a disaster Blush its like us Arsenal letting Doncaster score against us.Hold on they probably would have equalised. Dodgy

RE: ENGLAND & ALL INTERNATIONALS...
Not that fussed about England tbh, Rooney retired from tournament football after his first one scored 4 in 4 then over the years played 17 games and scored 3 goals in World Cup/European Championship surprisingly he scored loads in qualifying when we played against the minnows! I tend to take more interest in the countries that have Brighton players in their squads eg Rep of Ire, Holland, Australia, Israel and now Colombia also a couple of others that are in and out of their national teams. But saying that about England do watch the tournaments more if they qualify as need a laugh at such trying times!

RE: ENGLAND & ALL INTERNATIONALS...
Rooney been "arrested" for alleged drink driving, could you imagine the media had he not decided to retire from international football a couple of weeks ago'? lol

Rooney needed to be off the hot seat he has been sitting on for years, and just go back to enjoying football, i think being Captain and being held responsible for things really impacted him as a player

RE: ENGLAND & ALL INTERNATIONALS...
A good patient win by us last night.Started of same ol boring style but the more the game went on the more we had to score. Some of Sterlings play is so amateur I really don't know how he made the bigtime :s .So glad the Arsenal reject had a crap game and it took a Arsenal sub to liven up the game and make us play better and score a good goal himself Cool .Looks like we have found ourselfs a real super sub in Rashford he refreshes the game each time he comes on.Ok it was only Malta but the longer we keep patience the more we can dominate any opposition but with the big guns we seem to lose all patience and make stupid mistakes. The team in general looks like the 1st team to start any game even with Sterling some day his runs may just come of.

RE: ENGLAND & ALL INTERNATIONALS...
Was quite a boring performance the first half, Sterling played quite nonsensical, a more polished performance after Rashford came on. Kane on form, Wellbeck back to scoring for country.

Rooney who?  :P

RE: ENGLAND & ALL INTERNATIONALS...
Rashford is deffo the key, ManUtd even seem to play better when Rashford is on, like when he came on against Leciester the following week, he deffo was the spark that brought the 2-0 win,

Rashford will have a very interesting role in the squad
