RE: ENGLAND & ALL INTERNATIONALS...
Why not go the whole hog and pick the surviving members of the 1966 and the 1996 squads as see this as a backward step, as doesn't matter who plays in qualifying we get through then struggle in the actual tournaments of late may be coincidental but every tournament Rooney has been involved in we have been shite! Thank fuck he is injured.

It wouldn't be a backwards step if the powers that be got together to stop every Tom Dick and Harry coming over here. Its just going to get worse with no English players progressing for country just for their club, for instance Alli.Kane.Rashford,blinding for club shit for country Rolleyes

Look at the game guys see how easy it is to wind Madhatter and Vesper up ;)

RE: ENGLAND & ALL INTERNATIONALS...
Nearly a year on from beating them 3-2 and hope going into the Euros. Here we go again.

22.03.17

Germany 1-0 England: 'Defeat - but a display laced with promise for England'

Gareth Southgate's first game as permanent England manager, following a four-game spell in interim charge, ended in defeat - but it was a loss with honour here in Germany.

HA,i cant see any promise please don't forget we beat the Germans and we were world beaters by some hopefuls Rolleyes and then the mess in the Euros.

Last night we lost and the Germans were only in 3rd gear so there is a lot of hard work in front of us to get to Russia by the easy root :dodgy

Again not one of our front players came out the match with any praise,i mean ,Alli how did he miss that chance :(

One good thing to come out the game was that Cracker of a goal WOW Cool

So we go into Sunday with lessons from last night in our minds so we should just play our game and not be so regimental in our shape and get the win anyhow anyway ;)

Look at the game guys see how easy it is to wind Madhatter and Vesper up ;)

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez goes into meltdown as Lionel Messi helps Argentina to beat Chile

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has cut an increasingly frustrated figure in recent weeks. From fallouts with Arsene Wenger to repeated on-pitch tantrums, the striker has struggled for form as speculation over his future has intensified.
But any hope he had of seeking some refuge while away on international duty with Chile was dashed when the county was beaten 1-0 by Argentina in a crucial World Cup qualifying match, with Sanchez appearing to hit breaking point at the final whistle.

He then stormed off down the tunnel ahead of his team-mates, without stopping to applaud the travelling support. :(

Look at the game guys see how easy it is to wind Madhatter and Vesper up ;)

RE: ENGLAND & ALL INTERNATIONALS...
Talk about this being the most popular sport in the world.Only in football you would get such passion :D

World Cup qualifying: How did Syria win 'most important match in their history'?

It was goalless after 90 minutes and Syria's dreams of qualifying for their first World Cup were fading fast.
Then Omar Kharbin converted a bold, Panenka-style stoppage-time penalty to earn victory over Uzbekistan and make an appearance at Russia 2018 a realistic goal.
Syria, in fourth, move within one point of their opponents in Asian Qualifying Group A. The top two qualify automatically, with the third-place side advancing to a continental play-off.

What makes it so special is that they are playing all their home games thousands of miles away :(

the Syrians are playing their home fixtures at neutral venues, and Malaysia has been their "home" since last September.

Because of economic sanctions, as well as security fears, Syria are forced to play their home fixtures in Malaysia.

On Thursday, they played at the 40,000-capacity Hang Jebat Stadium - 4,500 miles from home.

LOYAL SUPPORTERS.

The team will now fly to Seoul to take on South Korea on 28 March with renewed belief that the dream to make it to Russia 2018 can become a reality.

what it is to have a belief.

Look at the game guys see how easy it is to wind Madhatter and Vesper up ;)

World Cup qualifying: Brazil beat Paraguay to seal place in Russia

Brazil have become the first side to seal their place at the World Cup finals in Russia next year.
Their 3-0 win over Paraguay, along with defeats for Argentina and Uruguay, means they cannot finish lower than fourth in South American qualifying.

Two-time World Cup winners Argentina face a battle to qualify for Russia with their 2-0 defeat to Bolivia leaving them fifth, a point behind Chile.
They will have to do so without forward Lionel Messi, who has been banned for four international matches for directing "insulting words" at an assistant referee during last Thursday's 1-0 win over Chile.

Friendly France v Spain 0-2

Video technology for the first time was used to correct two wrong decisions as Spain beat France in a friendly in Paris.
France striker Antoine Griezmann had a goal ruled out by a video assistant referee for offside.
And Spain's second goal, scored by Gerard Deulofeu, was awarded by the video official after an assistant referee wrongly flagged for offside.

It is going to right wrong decisions made by the Ref,but it is going to take away the passion of celebrations after scoring like we saw last night cos of the time the video ref is taking and the same when a linesman see's an offside but it wasnt or an infringement the video steps in to right that.It takes time to get the information to the ref while both sides await the decision and the ground goes quite and the momentum of the game has stopped.I suppose we,re going to get used to it after awhile but the arguments over decisions down the pub may just have been ended :(

RE: ENGLAND & ALL INTERNATIONALS...
While all these 1st team senior players play good football for their clubs we had to sit through the normal slow predictable style they play for the country :( you was very lucky to not watch the first 80 minutes cos all the action was in the last 10.No flair or style just play and hope.We just about scrapped a draw.We just about get a five out of ten just for Kanes goal and Oxlades good goal :D .

In contrast the under 20s showed the older ones how its done :D  :D .Congratulations to them :D  :D great all round performances in the world cup in South korea . I wont be typing this again for a long long time in the future
